Strengthening the Parasport System in the Republic of Croatia

Parasport activities within the ESF+ project “Strengthening the Parasport System in the Republic of Croatia” are intended for persons with disabilities and children with developmental difficulties.

The project is led by the Croatian Paralympic Committee, which aims to improve the availability, quality, and sustainability of parasport throughout the country. The project also provides funding for the work of qualified coaches.

Invitation to parents of children with disabilities (ages 7 to 25) to sports activities within the project “Universal Sports School”:

Dear parents,

Rijeka Sports Association for persons with disabilities, as part of the “Universal Sports School” project under the patronage of the Croatian Paralympic Committee, invites children and youth with disabilities (with developmental disabilities and additional educational needs and developmental risks) to join sports activities led by educated and professional trained coaches of the Federation. The mission is to motivate children with disabilities to actively integrate into society through sports.

Participation in sports activities for children with disabilities is voluntary and free.

Depending on the epidemiological measures, the universal school will be held virtually or 1/1 in open fields under the guidance of trained coaches.

Dates are Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. in the Athletic Hall Kantrida, with prior notice to coach Ervin.
